The host screen is now one console: room controls, the shared screen, live answers and room music in a single layout, instead of separate views that each behaved a little differently.

Joining a pulse takes one tap

Voters go straight in without a nickname step, and a scanned code opens the room without a second tap. You can still ask for a name to show on the lobby wall — answers stay anonymous either way.

The pulse builder saves as you go

Questions now save themselves while you write, so closing the tab no longer loses a half-built pulse. New questions also start with a sensible time limit instead of a blank one.

Room music stays in sync for everyone

The room hears the same track at the same point, including people who join late, and playback recovers when a browser blocks it. Muting the music is now the one audio control.

Pages across the dashboard share the same headers, cards and spacing, so moving between classes, quizzes and responses feels like one product rather than several.

Live Pulse no longer borrows quiz wording

Unscored rooms used quiz language, showed podiums and offered standings a pulse has no use for. Pulses now count respondents, end by telling you how many people took part, and the monthly limit names pulses as well as quizzes.

Run a live pulse and watch the answers land

Build a pulse, share the code, and the room votes on their phones. Results fill in live on the big screen — no scores, no leaderboard. You choose whether voters see the totals too, or only the projected screen.

Collect anything that isn't a quiz with forms

Send a form to a class or share a link that works without an account — feedback, sign-ups, exit tickets. Choices and scales come back as charts, and long written answers can be summarised for you.

Let students hand in photos, PDFs or documents

Choose how each homework may be answered: typed in the app, or uploaded as a photo, PDF, Word or Excel file. Students see only the formats you allow, and uploads land in the same grading view as typed work.

Pick every class that should get an assignment when you create it, instead of repeating the same setup class by class. Each class still gets its own results.

Send a submission back with a note instead of grading it as final. The student can reopen the work, fix it and hand it in again, and you see it return to your grading queue.

Students can flag questions and read your marks

While working, a student can flag a question to come back to and it stays highlighted in the question tracker. Once you return the work, they see the marks and feedback you gave on each question.

Page thumbnails were too small to tell one page from another. Open any page full size, move through with the arrow keys and select it without leaving the viewer. The page picker itself is tidier and no longer clips its own controls.

Apply a time limit or a point value to every question at once, instead of editing each question to make the same change.

Individual can now be paid yearly at a discount, the same way the classroom plans already could.

Joining, quiz preview and number fields

Students who already have an account can sign in on the join page and claim a class code, instead of being told their email is taken. Quiz preview no longer crashes on some options, and time and points fields keep what you type.

Upload a PDF, preview the pages, and pick the ones your questions should come from — when generating a quiz and when building notebook homework. You can choose how many questions you want, and much larger files now work.

AI auto-grading now grades every submission

Grading a whole assignment no longer holds uncertain or hard-to-read answers back for review — every submission gets a result. AI isn't 100% accurate, so the app reminds you to check its work; your own grades are never changed.

Run AI suggestions on a single submission from the grading view, instead of the whole class at once.

Reuse an assignment in another class

Give an existing quiz assignment or homework to another class in a couple of clicks — the details copy across, and classes that already have it are marked.

38 new banks: UPSC prelims and practice sets, CBSE class 10 and 12 board papers, and NCERT practice for classes 11 and 12. Filter them alongside JEE Main and NEET.

Assignment buttons say what they create

"Assign quiz" picks an existing quiz; "New homework" writes one on the spot. Building a quiz mid-assignment now returns you to the wizard, and back buttons remember which class tab you came from.

"Submitted" totals count real hand-ins, marking unsubmitted work as done asks you to confirm you saw the notebook in class, and an early mark no longer blocks a student from uploading their pages.

Session reports and question previews now render math properly instead of showing raw notation.
